The Blitz

With the NFL season just underway the blitzing has begun, but it isn’t just on the gridiron that we get blitzed.  Seniors have been under attack for a few weeks now and are likely getting overwhelmed with the amount of television, newspaper and mail advertising targeting them for a different type of season.

On October 15 the Annual Election Period (or AEP) for Medicare starts and fortunately we live in an area that has an abundance of quality plans available.  Not to mention we have a plethora of fantastic hospitals in the area.  While having more options is tends to be a good thing, too many options can be confusing and cause anxiety.

With the season being so short, many of us and/or our family members have been bombarded in an attempt to persuade them to change plans and go with a different carrier.  Often so overwhelmed, it can be difficult to decipher the important information from the potentially biased sources.  Critical plan changes or cancelations can slip through the cracks potentially leaving them in a less than ideal situation or without coverage at all!

So as the blitz comes in, fast and furious, make sure to do your homework for you or your family’s sake.  Keep in mind that if the grind becomes too unbearable know that we can help you.  We have all our licensees, appointments and are up to date on all the plans in the area.

If you need us, we will be here.

All the best,

Wesley R. Nicholson, Mike Allen and Aaron Everdyke
